Building an Islamic Worldview Through Education in Achieving Scientific Integration

Three Wulan Ramadhani

Abstract

The impact of the scientific dichotomy is still very strong until now as evidenced by the current of westernization which is still very strong. The influence of westernization has had a major impact on the outlook on life of Islamic students today. The hidden western strategy is to create a knowledge regime that does not allow other sciences to develop. The educated generation of Muslim successors is used as the guardian of the western knowledge system, which is unconsciously spreading and defending western values and creating the belief that western products are the best products of civilization and the best solutions that must be accepted and followed in creating human prosperity. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive characteristics. The main data are taken from reference books. The point of view that is influenced by liberal, secular, and other ideas brought by the west is to be minimized so that it does not remain. This is done by holding development training with the concept of Islamic worldview which discusses a more detailed understanding of the concepts of aqidah and sharia, science, education, morals, and tolerance. This development training can be done anywhere, especially with the concept of education.
